Eye Catching Creative – A Look Into the Fox Home Entertainment/Black Swan Campaign
Earlier this year, we teamed with Fox Home Entertainment to create a mobile campaign around the Blu-Ray and DVD release of their Oscar winning film, Black Swan. To help build excitement around the release date, Fox collaborated with our in-house creative team to build custom rich media units, and their first ever animated mobile ad.
The results were spectacular.
When consumers clicked on the banner ad, the screen expanded and black feathers floated down the screen in an eye catching manner. After using the animation to grab the user’s attention, the unit gave them the option to view a Black Swan video, or directly purchase the video from Amazon.com.
The ad unit was optimized for both tablets and phones, and the campaign was targeted to reach the film’s core audience of 18-24 females.
The campaign was a great example of the versatility of mobile, as it combined video, mCommerce and rich media animations, to create a really unique experience for consumers.
