Advertising via Millennial Media’s Self-Serve Tool Just Got Easier

Over the last few months we’ve spoken with many of our advertisers, from developers who promote their apps, to agencies that are helping their clients achieve their mobile ad goals.  Keeping their specific feedback in mind, we have introduced even deeper targeting and streamlined ways for businesses to advertise via our self-serve solution.

One mMedia addition we are particularly excited about is the ability for advertisers to target specific OS versions. So, for example, if a developer wanted to drive app downloads targeting iPhone users with iOS versions of 4 and higher, that feature is now available and simple to execute.

For advertisers that are location-focused, we’ve also made it easy to highlight a geographic location on a map and indicate what cities or towns they want to target within that area. Looking to target specific cities within New England? Simply highlight the Northeastern states that you want, and click on Boston, Hartford, and Burlington (or whichever cities you want to target).

Our hyperlocal targeting also works internationally, and advertisers can target areas ranging from entire continents, to a predefined area in a specific country, such as a landmark in Singapore or Indonesia.

Finally, advertisers can create new campaigns and get started even faster.  Want to copy an existing campaign?  You now can with our new campaign ‘copy’ feature.  We’ve also added the ability to upload multiple creative banners at once, streamlining the ‘get started’ process.   Advertisers who are building their own ads will also now have more choices for how their creative will look with new options in our self-serve Creative Builder.

We are always soliciting feedback and improvement suggestions from our self-serve advertisers.  Please continue to share your thoughts/feedback at support@mmedia.com.
