What We Learned at the Affiliate Summit West Conference
I had the pleasure of attending the Affiliate Summit West conference in Las Vegas earlier this month, and being on the floor, it was hard to not notice the excitement surrounding mobile. In fact, that was one of the main things that changed since the previous Affiliate Summit conference in August. Everyone was interested in mobile.
The conference had over 5,000 attendees, representing affiliates, merchants, agencies, developers and more, and overwhelmingly, the message we heard at our meeting room was that people have recognized the consumer shift to mobile, and are now looking for solutions to help them succeed in the space.
The key theme that we heard repeatedly was performance, performance, performance. Whether they were new to the space or seasoned mobile practitioners, affiliate marketers are increasingly looking for mobile traffic to lower their cost of acquisition.
