QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICAL LEAD

Job Title: Quality Assurance Technical Lead
Department: Engineering
Reports To: Director of Systems Engineering

The QA Technical Lead will be responsible for managing and guiding all projects that enter the Quality Assurance team through the QA process.  This person will be responsible for working with Software Engineering to gather all necessary documentation, building RTM's, test cases, test scripts and working with the QA team to execute test plans.  They will also be responsible for setting expectations, levels of effort and task assignments on a per project basis for the QA team.

A bachelors degree in computer science, computer information systems, electrical engineering or applicable area of study from an accredited college and three to five years of QA experience in a Internet, software or technology based company. This person should be familiar with QA, Testing and Software Development methodologies and familiar with industry standards and best practices. They should have a technical background with experience in at least three of the following technologies:

• Unix/Linux
• Apache
• Oracle, MySQL
• PHP, Java
• WML, XHTML, BREW

They should be comfortable in a leadership role and able to manage staff effectively. This individual must also have strong communication and organizational skills. They should be interested in working in a exciting and challenging environment.

Candidates with experience using wireless technologies or in the wireless industry will receive special consideration.
