OPERATIONS ANALYST
Job Title: Operations Analyst
Department: Operations
Reports To: Director of Operations
The operations analyst will evaluate supply and demand needs for the network, with a heavy focus on the publisher side of commerce, to enable the organization to make informed decisions on objectives. In this role, s/he will perform in-depth exploratory analysis on the economics of inventory, including ways to best monetize, segment, and grow available ad space, given the current campaign mix and unique advertiser goals.
The analyst will need to have a thorough understanding of optimization and use problem solving and analytical skills in order to determine the most effective means of increasing ROI for the company. Presentation of these findings will need to be prepared and delivered through both formal and informal self-generated reports and communicated via email, group meetings, and/or conference calls. In addition to weekly reports and daily updates, the analyst will need to provide monthly forecasting reports, status updates, and progress reports to relevant internal groups. These reports will help identify growth opportunities and out of the box ideas, to help drive key business decisions.
The analyst will work most closely with internal groups such as sales, technology, finance, publisher services and roductmManagement, but will have some exposure to external clients as well. As a central point of communication, the analyst will help to coordinate efforts, streamline communication between teams and assist with the execution of suggested strategies, while at the same time ensuring client needs are met. S/He will also provide valuable insight on findings to key thought leaders. Additionally, the analyst will also help troubleshoot technical issues, load campaigns, make adjustments to optimization, and overall maintain the delivery of campaigns within the allocated ad space.
