Before I was hired, I always heard that Millennial Media was a laid back place to work filled with fun people, but it wasn't until my first week of work when I had the opportunity to truly experience one of the best work atmospheres in the industry. I think Millennial Media is an awesome place to work for several reasons. First and foremost, Millennial has a "work hard, play hard" type of environment. I started working at Millennial Media in the New York City office on October 17, 2011. When I woke up to get ready to brace the NYC subway and start a brand new job in a brand new city, I panicked moments before I walked out my door. I collected myself, made the commute, and finally made it to the 10th floor of our building. I walked in and was greeted with nothing but smiles from my boss, who introduced me to all the members of the New York Team. All prior feelings of panic settled; also being surrounded by that perfect shade of lime green helped ease me into the working world. The first beginning days at any job are a little awkward, but instantly I knew I was in the right place. I could feel the camaraderie amongst my coworkers and it was an environment that I was eager to be a part of. Everyone has so much pride in their work and in their coworkers' work as well. The phrase "Team Green" is mentioned a great deal throughout this company and I sincerely see it acted out on a daily basis. Sales members are proud of each other for closing deals and appreciative of their AMs for helping them along the way. Besides the fact that we have honest teamwork every day, I personally am thankful for all of the Directors of Sales, AEs, and AMs that have taken the time to teach me about what they do. I am so happy that I found a job that I actually enjoy waking up and going to. I know I will be here for a long time to come and I look forward to each stepping stone I take alongside my coworkers and a company that embodies integrity, pride and teamwork.

The second greatest thing is being part of the history of Millennial Media as it reshapes mobile media. Our success is not if, but when, and I can say I was a part of it!
