November 2011 Mobile Mix™ Report
This month features a spotlight on the Amazon Kindle Fire. Since the Kindle Fire launched less than two months ago, we’ve seen impressions grow at an average daily rate of 19 percent, with a monthly run rate of hundreds of millions of impressions. As millions of consumers are expected to unwrap new tablets and other mobile devices during the holidays, we’re excited to see what the first quarter of 2012 holds for these devices.
October 2011 Mobile Mix™ Report
Featuring some interesting insights into different ways smartphones and connected devices are impacting the mobile ecosystem. For example, impressions coming from touch screen devices grew 44 percent year-over-year, and this was primarily driven by smartphones and connected devices. Additionally—we saw impressions coming via a Wi-Fi network increase 19 percent month-over-month (and account for 35 percent of our total impressions), which speaks both to the growing usage of smartphones and connected devices, and to how consumers are increasingly using these devices while they are at home over their own Wi-Fi connection.
