Chief Executive Officer
Michael Barrett is the CEO of Millennial Media, and brings over 20 years of experience in e-commerce, advertising, publishing, and sales. Previously, Michael was President and Founder of Ichabod Farm Ventures LLC. He also served as Chief Revenue Officer of Yahoo! Inc., and was responsible for global advertising revenue and operations. Prior to Yahoo!, Michael served as CEO of AdMeld, which was acquired by Google in 2011.
Previously, Michael served as Chief Revenue Officer and Executive Vice President at Fox Interactive Media, overseeing the worldwide revenue for all of the company’s properties, including MySpace, IGN, FoxSports.com, Fox.com, AmericanIdol.com, and Scout.com. Prior to Fox, he served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Partnerships of AOL Media Networks at AOL LLC (now Historic AOL LLC). Michael has also held senior roles at GeoCities, Disney Online, and Family PC.
Michael holds a B.A. degree in Economics from College of the Holy Cross.
EVP, Global Monetization Solutions
Matt Gillis is responsible for the company’s tools and monetization services for media and application developers. Matt is a mobile industry veteran with more than 15 years’ experience with wireless software and content. Prior to Millennial Media, Matt spent over 10 years in the operator business, where he successfully built and managed critical relationships with content and software publishers and developers.
Most recently, Matt led boutique mobile games publisher, Cosmic Infinity, to their eventual acquisition by Japanese mobile videogame giant Capcom. Since the acquisition, he served as the Executive Vice President of Publishing (Americas/EMEA), bringing top-selling games such as “Street Fighter”, “Resident Evil”, and “Who Wants To Be a Millionaire” to mobile phones everywhere. With Capcom, Matt was responsible for sales, marketing, and licensing, elevating Capcom Mobile to a Top Five mobile publisher.
Matt is a regular speaker at industry events, and has spoken at a variety of mobile, developer, and games conferences around the world.

Chief Technology Officer
Bob Hammond is the Chief Technology Officer at Millennial Media, coming from Jumptap, where he served in the same role. A 24-year industry veteran, Bob joined Jumptap from Vibrant Media, a NY-based online ad network, where he served as SVP of Technology.
Prior to Vibrant Media, Hammond was VP of Engineering at Yahoo! following the company’s acquisition of Maven Networks, a video ad network where Hammond was SVP of Engineering for three years. In his role at Yahoo!, Bob managed and oversaw engineering for the company’s Video Platform and Syndication Group, including management of core development teams, product QA, product UI design, and technical documentation. Before Maven, Bob spent more than six years at Mirror Image, serving as Chief Technology Officer for the final three.
Bob received a BS in Biology from the University of Connecticut and studied Computer Engineering at the University of New Hampshire.
Chief Revenue Officer
Frank Weishaupt serves as Chief Revenue Officer and brings more than 15 years of digital media experience to the company. Frank came to Millennial through the acquisition of Jumptap where he served as Chief Operating Officer.
Before joining Jumptap, Frank was SVP of Sales and Publisher Marketplace at Criteo, and earlier spent 10 years at Yahoo! across a number of key operating roles, including Vice President of Advertising Marketplaces. In this role, Frank was in charge of the monetization strategy for North America’s Search, Display, and Platform businesses.
Executive Vice President, Business Strategy
Marc Theermann brings more than 15 years mobile marketing and advertising expertise as an entrepreneur, investor and senior operating executive. As EVP of Business Strategy, oversees Millennial Media’s strategy, direction and go-to-market execution for business, corporate and international development and utilize his expertise to accelerate the company’s position with programmatic and native advertising.
Theermann’s mobile experience began in Boston where he co-founded two prominent wireless companies – YellowPepper and Everypoint. Later, Theermann joined Admeld (now part of Google) where he helped conceptualize the world’s first auction for the real time buying of digital ads. This early innovation in advertising technology led to Google’s acquisition of the company. His responsibilities expanded once inside Google, where he led mobile platform sales and was responsible for the commercialization of Google properties – including DFP Mobile, the DoubleClick Advertising Exchange, and Admob.
Marc holds a BA from Schiller University Heidelberg, an MBA from Northeastern University and an MIM from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
SVP, Business Operations
Myles Presler is the Senior Vice President of Business Operations, responsible for cross-functional initiatives and organizational effectiveness. Prior to Millennial Media, Myles spent nearly 10 years as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co., where he advised media and financial services clients on a broad range of sales, marketing and operational topics.
Myles received a BA with highest distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a JD from the Northwestern University School of Law.
General Counsel, Chief Privacy Officer & Corporate Secretary
Ho Shin joined Millennial Media in January 2011 as its General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer, and is responsible for the Company’s global legal and privacy matters. Currently, he also serves on the Department of Homeland Security’s Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee, to which he was appointed in 2011.
Ho brings over a decade of experience in the internet and digital advertising business to Millennial Media. He was previously the General Counsel of Advertising.com where he was responsible for all global legal and privacy matters for the world’s largest third-party internet advertising network. During his time at Advertising.com, Ho participated in the acquisition and integration of numerous companies, in negotiating and launching international joint ventures, helped guide the company through its acquisition by AOL, and assisted in a $60 MM round of Series E financing.
Immediately prior to joining Millennial Media, Ho was General Counsel of Octagon Athletes and Personalities, the leading athlete representation, sports marketing and event marketing company globally, and a subsidiary of the Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG). At Octagon, Ho was responsible for Octagon's legal department, which provided a full range of services to the company, including drafting and negotiating commercial transactions, handling commercial litigation and arbitration, and other corporate counseling.
Ho began his career as a litigation associate at Arnold & Porter in Washington, D.C. After that, he spent several years as a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, Commercial Litigation branch, where he primarily litigated savings & loan cases.
Ho received his JD, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University, and received his BS from the University of Maryland.
Managing Director, EMEA
Zac Pinkham is the Managing Director for EMEA and joins the Executive team with over 12 years of advertising experience, seven of which has been spent within mobile advertising. Since 2010, he has been instrumental in driving the growth of Millennial Media across EMEA with key media agencies and brands.
Zac works closely with all EMEA agency heads and senior clients, driving brand propositions amongst the market, whilst pushing his team to deliver insightful and immersive award-winning brand campaigns. Zac is regularly seen talking at the IAB and other industry events, as well as curating our own monthly sector events, evangelising the power of mobile for brands to engage and delight their target audiences.
Managing Director, APAC
Robert Woolfrey is the Managing Director of Millennial Media’s Asia-Pacific operations. In his role, Robert is responsible for growing Millennial Media’s business in the region, building relationships with publishers and the application community, and working with premium brands and agencies to help them execute effective mobile advertising campaigns.
Robert has been a dedicated market maker in mobile advertising and applications monetization for the last eight years, and has held senior positions at multiple award winning companies. Robert started his career in San Francisco where he developed partnerships with major brands such as Google, NASA, Oracle and Sun Microsystems, and relocated to Singapore in 2005, where he began working with top brands and agencies to drive mobile advertising adoption. In 2007, he led efforts to open new revenue streams from mobile advertising in the region, and as a result, his company was awarded the Best Consumer Application and Best Overall Innovation at 3GSM Asia in 2007.
Robert is on the Board of Directors, AsiaPac, for the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA).
Robert received a Bachelor of Commerce Honors Graduate from Memorial University in Canada.

SVP, Global Operations
Carl Wartzack serves as SVP, Global Operations. Carl is a seasoned executive with more than 15 years of senior executive management and business development experience, including a deep knowledge of advertising networks and interactive media.
Prior to joining Millennial Media, Carl served as the Chief Operating Officer of DigitalSports, where he led advertising sales, operations and content development. He previously held senior management positions with Yahoo! and Advertising.com. Carl has also held product management positions at Washington Post Newsweek Interactive and Bell Atlantic.
Matt Tengler is the Senior Vice President of Product at Millennial Media, overseeing the company’s product set, roadmap and execution. Previously, Matt served as VP of Product at Jumptap, which was acquired by Millennial Media in November 2013. At Jumptap, Matt was a critical contributor to the development and execution of the company’s Data Management Platform (DMP) and Demand Side Platform (DSP).
Prior to Jumptap, Matt served as VP of Local Products at Position Technologies, where he launched the local marketing division (allLocal) and counted over 35 national brands as customers within a year of launch. Matt has also held product leadership positions at Verizon, Fast Search & Transfer and Yahoo!
Matt holds a BS from Bentley College and a MBA from Bentley College’s Elkin B. McCallum Graduate School of Business.
