Millennial Media Names Isaac Babbs to Lead Global Business Development
Company Expands Silicon Valley Presence
San Francisco, CA and Baltimore, MD—September 13, 2011— Millennial Media, the independent leader in mobile advertising, today announced that Isaac Babbs has joined the company as the Senior Vice President of Business Development. The company also appointed Matt Gillis, to serve as Senior Vice President, Global Monetization Solutions, to focus on expanding the company’s tools and monetization services for media and application developers.
Isaac Babbs brings more than 25 years of experience in the mobile, technology, media and entertainment industries, and comes to Millennial from Qualcomm, where he was Vice President and General Manager, Qualcomm Services Labs, Inc. and Vice President, Business Development, Qualcomm, Inc. Babbs has also been a member of Millennial Media’s Advisory Board since 2006.

In his role at Qualcomm Services Labs, Babbs led internal efforts at commercializing and launching mobile services from within the company. Prior to Qualcomm and Qualcomm Services Labs, Babbs served as the president of Sorrent, a leading mobile gaming company, which merged with Macrospace to become Glu Mobile. Prior to Sorrent, Babbs was an executive at Macromedia, where he co-founded shockwave.com, and led the audio-video division, which was sold to Apple.
Along with serving executive roles at Qualcomm, Sorrent and Macromedia, Babbs has founded and served as CEO of two companies, Tapatap, Inc., and Atlas Mobile. Both companies were in the mobile gaming space and were acquired.
